Sadly one of the most accurate sci fi films is 1984, the 50s or 80s version. 2001 certainly feels more accurate than almost any other film but Andromeda Strain is up there are you noted in this podcast. The Martian is really good as well and the writer was open about a couple things he exaggerated to add some drama. I know many people think Interstellar is up there but it falls way short for me. The whole love is the fifth dimension or whatever ruined it for me!
