Flickering dizzying hypnotic light.
The director reaches out to snare your eyes, your mind, your heart.
First time. The director despoils the virgin film with his demands.
Light and shadows dance.
Up is down. Right is wrong.
Whatever the director says is truth for those few minutes in a dark theater.
Gum clings to your shoe.
The film clings to your soul.
Shadows. John Cassavetes. Meaning. Meaningless. There is nothing.
There is only the film.

Most directors are hit and miss but Michael Bay is all miss for me. I don’t think I like any of his movies. I don’t think I ever think, It Michael Bay I won’t watch it, but more I don’t want to see that and then learn its Michael Bay. Jack Snyder isn’t a draw either.
Hmmm. Don’t think I know Jack Snyder. Did you mean Zack Snyder? Only off by one letter and makes quite a bit of sense. Thanks, Vince!
Jack Snyder is his more talented brother…. Or I am dyslexic, you decide!
I knew it! Zack Snyder must the Evil Twin! It all makes sense now!
